Machine Optimisation Manager Job (Pulp and Paper Manufacturing)
Karawang, West Java, Indonesia
Monroe Consulting is recruiting on behalf of a European-based multinational manufacturing company. Our highly respected client has set the global standard within the paper, energy, mobility and service markets with more than 43.000 employees located in their 280 facilities around the world. Our client is seeking a machine optimisation management professional with at least 10 years’ experience in the paper production for the job of Machine Optimization Manager, to be based in Karawang, West Java, Indonesia. This is a senior position reporting directly to the MD. International travel is required. Only suitably qualified candidates should apply for this position.
Key job responsibilities include:
Supervising machine optimization engineers
Improve overall equipment efficiency and consequently the quality of paper produced
Work together with customers and maintenance team
Be an active member of Southeast Asia team
Work in paper machine production consulting projects
Support sales and installation phase of complex rebuilds and paper machine efficiency improvement solutions
Carry out process optimization projects to help solve process problems of customers
Conduct/take part in paper production like audits
Take part in component, rebuild or machine start-ups
Follow HSE procedures and ensure zero work place accidents.
Job Requirements
At least 10 year experience in paper production
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or chemistry
Experience dealing with clients and delivering training
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Willing to travel worldwide
Fluent in English, both oral and written
Proficient in MS Excel
